trumPETER I have listened to a ton of Kaki King. Dreaming of Revenge was an excellent album. Glow grew on me and became a favorite. The Neck Is A Bridge... really really great. In my personal top ten from anything I own.

It has a "concept album" feel, like it's a complete story unto itself.
I always start from the beginning and let the whole thing play, it wouldn't feel right to do it any other way.

Genre bending, incredibly artistic, it explores places that only the bravest and most curious artist go.

about

The Neck Is A Bridge To The Body lays bare The Guitar’s inner life and protean power, its incalculable possibility and perpetual presence in our deepest unconscious. The album is a companion piece to an immersive multi-media performance that finds the guitar serving as an ontological tabula rasa in a creation myth unlike any other.
