Brian Richards Terrific guitarist! There's a bit of John Fahey lurking behind Kaki's modern themes. It's the kind of music you can listen to with intensity or use it as a backdrop to the day.
Uncle Gravity

wonderdog Kaki always puts out great music and this is no exception. It sounds like a classy sound-check.

Zane Metcalfe Kaki King is a genre unto herself. This album is a fantastic showcase of her softer side. An album to be played on a lazy sunny Saturday, lying in bed and drinking the clean and clear melodies and tones offered here. This collection could have been released as a full and proper album in its own right and not suffer for the minor minor flaws in recording quality, such is the strength of the material. It's an intricate and soothing experience. A warm water rinse for the mind and soul. Favorite track: Goby (live featuring Dan Brantigan and Matt Hankle).
